Simply put, we listen to our clients so we can leverage our expertise to create winning products for them.

The Big Picture
Design is one element of many for a successful product. A quality product is intimately linked with strategy, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and other business factors that work together to create a successful business.

Truly connecting with your customer at the critical junction point of your product matters a great deal. Directing a design effort within realistic financial boundaries to create a healthy margin is vital. Customers, brand, use, technical and financial parameters need to be thoroughly understood before pen ever touches paper.

“Get it”
A successful design project has its roots in understanding. Understanding is created on the foundation of listening. Comprehending the issues is paramount - understanding the client, the problems, the challenges, and the opportunities. listening and paying attention so we “get it” is essential – right from initial client meetings until the product is ready for the assembly line. Client and user feedback on strategies, concepts and prototypes are critical elements to include as ideas are tested, adjusted and validated.

Design Investment
At Advanta, design is viewed as a business tool. When products are more desirable (from both a functional and emotional point of view), they will sell more. Design decisions that optimize technology and minimize assembly costs mean each unit is efficient to produce. Selling more and producing for less increases profit and provides a return on your investment.

People at the Centre
Creating products for people on the move is our passion. That movement can be physically transporting them, providing devices for tasks while they are on the move, or increasing productivity and enjoyment in their tasks.

People have immense value. We create products to enhance their life, work and play.
