MAXIME CAVANAGH POULIOT

Beginning his career as a CAD drafter, Maxime became passionate about product design. He joined Advanta in 2013 after completing his studies in industrial design at Cégep Ste-Foy. We had the privilege of witnessing his remarkable work during his internship presentation. His talent, attitude, and willingness to tackle complicated problems quickly helped him grow and advance within our design team.

Over the years with our team, Max has specialized in designing products that require small components and minimal-sized closures. A specialist in complex assembly, he has been involved in continuously improving how we build our main models and exchange detailed CAD models internally. He's now a reference for both new and experienced designers.

Thinker of great clarity and talented industrial designer, Maxime understands and executes. His solid experience in mechanics and his eagerness to test and validate certainly help. When it comes to trying out ideas with models, Maxime is unbeatable, he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. His natural empathy (more than others in the studio) makes him a good guinea pig for product usability testing validation. He knows how to put himself in someone else's shoes.
