VINCENT HAMELIN

Vincent Hamelin is one of our modeling experts and constitutes a cornerstone of our workflow management system based on the Solidworks PDM Enterprise platform. Completing his studies in industrial design at CÉGEP Ste-Foy in 2009, Vincent won first place for his end-of-year project. Starting with Advanta Design immediately after graduating, he honed his craft through numerous projects with our senior designers.

Creative and incredibly skilled with his hands, Vincent is impressive when placed in a workshop context. Comfortable and proficient with tools for prototyping, jig assembly, home component molding/casting, or creating new, increasingly complex cosplay costumes year after year.

If a part needs to be manufactured or inspected by Advanta, there's a strong chance the documentation will pass through Vincent's hands as he prepares the documentation. Vincent ensures that in the manufacturing documents, all details are in line with specifications, reflecting Advanta's methodical quality.

Over the years, he has demonstrated excellent development abilities for sheet metal projects, injection molding, and shaping composites. He has been a key element in the adoption and implementation of PDM Enterprise. He has become our in-house ePDM expert by providing continuous support to this important data management system. This is now a powerful differentiator with our competition, but more importantly, the quality of documentation and tight revision controls are a significant benefit to our clients.
